About Jennifer

Restore to me the joy
of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.
Then I will teach your
ways to rebels, and they will return to you. Forgive me for shedding blood, O God who saves; then I will joyfully sing of your forgiveness. Unseal my lips, O Lord, that my mouth may praise you.
Psalm 51:12-15
Bigger Is Better
I'm an Indiana girl, born and raised in a small town that is no longer small. I went to a small university, locally known, that now is a nationally recognized name. I married my city-raised husband and we moved to a small town to raise our family. Our town has quickly become one of the largest growing communities in the state. See the theme?
I did the same thing with God. Kept Him neatly tucked in a small box, up on a shelf, out of my grasp. Perfect for others, not for me. It wasn't until I left the comfort of my own smallness and surrendered to the vastness of Christ in me, that I found my home. The great expanse of God's love for me (and for you) remains my strong foundation. It's big alright, and that's ok with this small-town girl. It's in the greatness of God that I can finally find the stillness of Grace.
